Meeting on the Preparations and Plans for the “Mineral Processing 2026” International Conference

The Board of Directors of the Mongolian Mineral Processing Association (MMPA) and members of the organizing committee for the “Mineral Processing 2026” International Conference visited Erdenet Mining Corporation SOE on April 3, 2026.

During the visit:

• The Association’s regular Board meeting was held, during which the proposed changes to membership fees effective from 2026 and the training program for the second cohort of Consulting and Professional Engineers were discussed and approved.
• T. Batmunkh, Chair of the Organizing Committee of the “Mineral Processing 2026” International Conference, exchanged views with members on the conference preparations and implementation plan.
• Certificates recognizing the Professional Engineer qualification in Mineral Processing Technology were presented to seven engineers from Erdenet Mining Corporation SOE who successfully completed the professional engineer training program organized in March 2026.
• Membership certificates were also presented to 11 engineers and employees of Erdenet Mining Corporation SOE who newly joined the Mongolian Mineral Processing Association in 2026. The delegation also held an informal meeting with representatives of senior professionals and retirees from the mineral processing sector.
